@Meg Holbrook I'm a California girl, too, and these Mediterranean beaches totally win.

I spent a few weeks in Mallorca, Spain last summer and was so in love with it! I could easily vacation there all the time. The warm water, the great food, the lively cities, siesta culture. It's magical 😍

I recently watched Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and laughed so hard! It's empowering and hilarious in this day and age, especially given that it's base din 1950's NYC.

I love The Moth! I've been listening to it for more than 10 years at this point, which feels like a long time. I love that it's not one that builds on each episode so I can pop it on during a long drive and listen to 2-3 in a row without needing new context.

Funny @Meg Holbrook - before this summer I had only visited in winter! I try to get out to the Tahoe area every few months. Usually it's not more than 4 times a year, but I'm starting to think I might want to make it a more regular thing, especially after visiting this summer for the first time! My dog especially loved the…

Oh, what a great quote by Abe, @Natalie! I hadn't heard it either but I really like it.

I've been to Rick's in Sacramento a couple times coming back from Tahoe! It's so rich and tasty. I grew up in the largest city in the US to be fully below sea level! It's a farm town in south eastern California and this view is at the end of my street. The tip of the mountain is in Mexico, which you can see from my…

🎉Congratulations!! These awards are very well deserved. Thank you for all you do!
-
@Meg Holbrook! omg - yes, text-to-speech and swiftkey are basically my saving grace. That and getting whats app on my laptop so I can easily message friends/family 😂
-
@Kimberly Deal _Columbus ACE_ I think you've just articulated it! @Emily Errico

I hate apps! Well, I love their convenience and accessibility, but I do not like being mobile. I'm the kind of person that usually takes my laptop home every night in case I need do something before/after work hours and don't want to use my phone. I'm a millennial by birth year, but I really hate starring at such a small…

@Monique vdB it was 122* at my parents' place last Wednesday. I think as long as it stays below 105* I can manage. @Meg Holbrook how common is that under 105*? Is it at least a dry heat?
-
OMG I WANT.
-
😂this is amazing @Fadoua!
-
Oh, I love BC!
-
Oh man, that looks like so much fun!
-
Does it really get that hot in Sacramento?!? I've considered it as somewhere I may want to move to, but idk, you're kinda scaring me off with that heat. As for this weekend, I splurged and got a facial which was SO amazing. I got several compliments on my skin, which was flattering, in addition to feeling fresh and rested.…

@Fabienne Gerhard Welcome! I'm also a child of the dark. Unless it's natural light from a window, I'd very much rather be in a dark or soft light. I mostly just hate overhead and fluorescent lights!

This is my boo, Barley. He's now a 50 pound Border Collie mix (maybe English Pointer, maybe Pit Bull) who is about 1.5 years old and my favorite thing in the world. I adopted him from the pound in March and we've already had some great adventures. Shameless plug to follow him on Instagram.

you were so on it!

haha what an evil eye!

(Just a note for those having trouble uploading, I entered a text comment and then hit "edit" and was able to upload a photo. This is a known bug and hopefully fixed soon!)

Ooo! This is perfect for July's badge. To keep in line with pets, this photo is both happy and funny to me. It's right after I adopted my dog and A) you can tell I'm happy by my huge goofy smile and B) it makes me laugh because my dog looks so annoyed to have been distracted from his belly rub for a photo.

GAH. @Fadoua I grew up in the desert and we had flying cockroaches, too!! Some of the most shrill screams I've ever let out have been due to a cockroach flying over my head.
-
@Alana Fernando it's Friday in Sydney and your turn has come! ☺️
-
Is this like an AUG where we all live together? 🤔
-
@Fadoua I use a bleach paste (bleach and baking soda) and put it on with an old tooth brush, let sit for about ~20-30 mins, then rinse off as normal! I'm usually against all chemicals and only use vinegar to clean everything else in my place, but I use bleach for the bath 🤷🏻♀️It's similar to this, but without the…

WHOA, GAME CHANGER @Monique vdB😄😃😀😳😘

I realize this is going to be a very controversial statement, but I actually enjoy cleaning the tub and tile! It's mostly the satisfaction of seeing it sparkle, clean at the end of the task. I recently figured out how to remove all black/moldy staining from the grout and sealant, so it makes me feel really Type-A. That…
