I think that's not the epic color I have another gant addon where I can change the color manually for each task or ist shows color depending on task status (open, in progress, closed)

I used automation or JMCF, but you can use the tool that you may already have bought Not sure if the automation is still free in the basic version for jira server

you can use addons like automation for jira create a rule that on issue creation in a specific epic, it will change the label

I created a custom field "parent summary" and I fill this with addons like JMCF, automation or scriptrunner. Then I show it in the issue search columns

JQL with issues in epic(ID), then show columns for summary and assignee

you could create an issue search and use the subscription to send it daily but this will be a mail with the jira format, no excel, but you can copy it into excel

can you create the same issue tyoe in the same project not via timeline? in the create issue dialogue, is there some field marked as mandatory with a red *

looks good, need to take a deeper look when we were migrated to cloud

we use the jira issues macro in Confluence to show our relase notes, because there we can add specific filters for the teams.

does XRay only "translate" the status into some other words and create a page to show them? Then I could also built my own dashoards and filter for the status.

Joining this community with your new account should be OK. But you start at 0. Don't know if some Atlassian Admin can or will migrate current achievments from your old account to the new one.
