Happy Halloween
-
you can use the addon automation for jira with the trigger on issue creation, as example. or some other script addons https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=automation%20for%20jira

I finally got it after a lot of testing: { "update": { "01": [ { "set": { "value": "{{triggerIssue.fields.01.value}}", "child": { "value": "{{triggerIssue.fields.01.child.value}}" } } } ], "02": [ { "set": { "value": "{{triggerIssue.fields.02.value}}", "child": { "value": "{{triggerIssue.fields.02.child.value}}" } } } ],…

But it only updates field01 and not field02 @Danyal Iqbal i added a comma after the update and then it worked { "update": { "01": [ { "set": { "value": "{{triggerIssue.fields.01.value}}", "child": { "value":…

then you can use automation for jira addon as example. create a rule thet is triggerd on task creation and that you want to assign the issue to the reporter. After the issue creation (not in the create issue window) it will change the assignee to the issue reporter. https://docs.automationforjira.com/rule-playground/#/
-
@Rich Harrelson When a person or an automation rule assigns an issue to a user, this user will always get a notification mail. you mean this mail? If Automation sends you other mails, these ones must exist as an automation rule, as @John Funk mentioned in his last post.
-
so, everytime when a user opens the task, it should be automatically assigned to him, even if he just wants to view it?
-
is it only on >1MB xlsx files or also on other/all file types?
-
go to system -> attachments and check the allowed size
-
are you allowed to upload attachments? - i think you are can you upload >1MB or is this blocked in your jira instance?
-
How exaclty is this working? I have the badge for 5 answeres posted, but also one for 10 accepted solutions. For me, 10 solutions also means 10 answers given.
-
Where do you want the 3rd field? If it is in Subtask, you could work with JMCF something like (issue.get("customfield_1") != null ? issue.get("customfield_1") : 0) + (issue.getParentObject("customfield_2") != null ? issue.getParentObject("customfield_2") : 0) Or Automation for jira with the math operation maybe you have to…

Ist this possible with JQL without using an addon?

After 3 days at home I still miss my big table in the office. The good thing is that I could also take my equipment like my 2 big monitors at home. I also have software for phone an desktop sharing and the internet ist fast enough to handle it all. But I am really happy to have a separate work space at home. Can't imagine…

This is working in my jira instance (issue.get("cf01") != null ? issue.get("cf01") : 0) / (issue.get("cf02") != null ? issue.get("cf02") : 0) normally, errors are shown in the jira log. sometimes they give a really good hint what's not working with the script
