@Cory Bond Yes could you scroll down to check whether there is JAVA_HOME or JRE_HOME set in the system variables. for the setenv.bat " it says JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Atlassian\JIRA\jre\ because i think you install JIRA via the atlassxx.bin file so JAVA is packed together JIRA need java_home/jre_home to be set in the…

@ELIZABETH_JOHN @Karthik Ramachandran Let me further explain, of-course the metadata table will be empty why ? first of all what is a metadata ? means the data that provide a structured description about some other data. From a programmer's point of view, database metadata refers to data about database data or, more…

@ELIZABETH_JOHN So perfect, sql_dump will preserve all data integrity you don't the to worry about any thing, and there are two important folders you also need to take back up. You also need a mechanism that will make a copy these folders to some separate storage as back up, the copy mechanism for instance in Linux is "cp"…
-
@ELIZABETH_JOHN Which mechanism are you using for Back up ?
-
@Cory Bond * You need to make sure that dbconfig.xml is correct, you can find it in <jira_home_dir> i.e the (user, password) to connect JIRA to database is correct, * That the database server is up and running. * No firewall blocking TCP connection database port. Kind regards, Mo

-
@Server Team <BAMBOOINSTALLDIR> means the installation directory, since you have sensed that you might move the directory, you would need to do the Lockout recovery process so that you can access bit-bucket as admin and the order the directory back as it was.
-
@Server Team Sorry that you are experiencing such issue are you able to provide logs in <BAMBOOINSTALLDIR>/logs/ ? Kind regards, Mo
