Hi Damon, That's a good question. I took a quick look at our documentation and I don't see an example of CloneIssue being used manually, so I don't think you would have known about any changes. I can see how that would be frustrating! The problem here, in my opinion, is that running CloneIssue manually is something we…

Hi Damon, What version of SR are you on? You might try this instead: import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.IssueManager import com.atlassian.jira.issue.link.IssueLinkTypeManager import com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.utils.ConditionUtils import…

If you set up a Custom Script Listener that fires on the Issue Updated event, you can write a script like this that will monitor the Due Date field for the Sub-tasks. If the Due Date of the sub-task gets updated and is greater than the Due Date of the parent Story, it will update the Story's Due Date to match the sub-task.…

Hi Valerie, I'm sorry to hear that! If you're still interested in trying to make it work, I have some questions for you that might help me try to think of a fix. You mentioned you want to set a custom field that is a drop-down. Is this a standard custom field, as in the standard Select List custom field in Jira? Or does…

Do you know the exact wording of the summaries that are duplicated? For example, you could write a script in the Script Console that does this: //JQL search for issues where summary contains specific wording //loop through all returned issues and link them together //reindex issues This would only work if you knew what the…

Shawn, I think this is because Insight custom fields are not compatible with ScriptRunner behaviours. We have been working on implementing compatibility: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2563 I would suggest following that issue to see when the compatibility is released. Regards, Josh
-
Valerie, Have you made sure that this script is NOT being used in an initializer of the behaviour? You need to attach this script to a field, e.g. description. From our docs: "This script hinges on the parentIssueId being present in the form. As such, you will need to associate the script with a visible field. It…

Hi Vasanth, I have answered a similar question here, using a Script Field to pull in data from the Fix Version field: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Copy-Fix-Version-field-value-to-Release-Category-using-Behaviors/qaq-p/786991#M254086 I'm not sure you will want to use a behaviour. Behaviours function on…

Hi Peter, Currently, Select List Conversions do not function through the JSD portal. I would suggest viewing this open bug ticket through our support desk: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2667 Regards, Josh

Hi Daniel, I believe we are aware of this issue. I would suggest following this ticket on our support portal: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2733 Regards, Josh

It looks like you are setting by user ID. If I remember correctly, I think you might need to set by username. Regards, Josh

Hi Ankit, Something like this should work: import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor def customFieldManager = ComponentAccessor.getCustomFieldManager() def groupManager = ComponentAccessor.getGroupManager() def assignedGroupCF = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectByName("Assigned Group") //multigroup picker…

@Ankit Patel Could you explain more with a use-case example? Do you want to set the "Assigned Groups" field to all the groups that the reporter is in? Josh

Hi Becky, Which version of ScriptRunner are you running? You can find it on the manage add-ons page in JIRA. Thanks, Josh
-
Hi Petr, Is the "Execute a ScriptRunner Script" module enabled under the add-on details in Jira for ScriptRunner? I'm not sure if the integration works with Automation Lite. Isn't that a different plugin than the regular Automation for JIRA add-on? Regards, Josh

Glad to hear it works, Andrew! Feel free to select my answer as the "Best answer" so that others on the Community can find it more easily. Thanks for using ScriptRunner!

Hi Andrew, I think this is because we need to write issue.status.name instead of just issue.status. import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.ModifiedValue import com.atlassian.jira.issue.util.DefaultIssueChangeHolder import java.sql.Timestamp def customFieldManager =…

Hi Becky, There was a small error in the code. I've assumed the custom field names on the parents are "PCF1", "PCF2", etc. Please feel free to change those to the actual names if they are different. Regards, Josh

Hi Andrew, I've slightly modified your script. Can you give it a try? import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.ModifiedValue import com.atlassian.jira.issue.util.DefaultIssueChangeHolder import java.sql.Timestamp def customFieldManager = ComponentAccessor.getCustomFieldManager()…

Hi Andrew, Thanks for getting back to me. We would like to take a closer look at this - can you make a ticket through our support portal with the information from this Community question? https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner/server/support Regards, Josh
-
That's fine. The built-in ScriptRunner reindex script just quickly reindexes all the issues, which the standard JIRA reindex already covers. Did the reindex make any difference?
-
Thanks for the info, Andrew. Have you tried the built-in script to reindex all issues?

Our docs state: Action What action do you want to run on the issue? This is optional, you can use Additional Issue Actions instead or as well as https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/escalation-service.html

Which version of SR is this? Another customer has brought up this problem today, but I cannot reproduce it. I don't think you need to define an action to add a comment, as I have successfully added a comment without an action: Thanks, Josh

Hi Shivashankar, According to https://docs.atlassian.com/atlassian-crowd/3.1.1/com/atlassian/crowd/event/group/GroupMembershipsCreatedEvent.html You can simply call getGroupName() on the event to get the name of group within the event. Regards, Josh

Hi David, I don't know if you've seen already, but we now have an open bug report for issues with Automation for Jira not showing up. Please follow https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2741 to see when it is fixed. Thanks, Josh
