Awesome! Thanks so much!
-
I never knew this existed, thanks!
-
This is super helpful. I don't currently have any need for this but I'm sure I will in the future.
-
I love the Do It button! I'll start testing :)

Variety! Always something new to do

I just checked on my instance and I'm seeing the same as you. I'd open a ticket with Atlassian and see if it's a bug or not!
-
* I like to keep them separate as we need to keep the instance used for testing the merges limited, we do not want any changes to occur when we are testing. * I often see companies merging or being bought by other companies. Both companies have their own Jira and Confluence instance and want to consolidate. This is…

Thanks!

Congrats to everyone!

@Margaret Boisvert What bot are you using? We are looking to start doing weekly standups again and I like the idea of a slack standup.
-
Is the assignee on the other issue changing regularly? What happens when that issue is closed?
-
Thanks for the use case. Is there a specific reason why the client does not want to use the portal? Sorry that this is not answering your question directly but maybe we can figure out another way to get this to work.
-
I don't have an answer for you but I'm curious what the use case is for this.
-
If you go to this page: https://admin.atlassian.com/ and then click on the domain name, do you see the option there?
-
At the top of the screen you'll see an option for Products, click on that and then there is a link for Sandbox on the left hand column.
-
I know this post is old, but it's been incredibly helpful for me! I already have a process I go through, but to have everything organized like this is a lifesaver.
-
One use case I can think of - we have 1 sandbox for testing Jira modifications to schemes and another sandbox for merging multiple instances of Jira. I could provide more insight if requested, but I'm doing something similar right now.

@T Chambers Would you mind sharing the invite link instead? I'd love to join!

I love podcasts but I can only listen to news podcasts when I'm working. For music, I typically try to listen to whatever new music has come out in the genre that I like, but I've also created a nice background music playlist on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/39Vr06QbaMpDIxDIIj7CHA?si=U38UJ-nrRI6lVm1F3zlrXw

On your Scheduled automation, there is a box that says "Run a JQL search and execute actions for each issue in the query." make sure to check that off, and then you will need to create a JQL with the output being the issues that you want to create sub-tasks for.

Welcome!

Just turned 1 last week!

Where will we be able to see the shared content?

Welcome!

I'm currently using my dining room table as a desk (it's easier for me to watch my son), and it's SO cluttered with everything but nothing fun. A bunch of books, wires, coloring pencils.

Just signed up! Automation is one of my favorite tools
-
If you have the automation set up to affect multiple issues at once, then just running it on any issue will run the whole automation. For example if you have a manual execution set to edit all issues that are in open status, then running the manual automation from any issue will edit all the issues in open status.
-
If you're looking at an issue, it will be on the right hand column, there will be a field called "Automation" and then a lightning bolt and "Rule executions". If you click on that, it will allow you to run a manual rule.
