Hi @Kristján Geir Mathiesen , my friend! Thanks for the question! Watching movies together as a family was a tradition when I was growing up. As I got older, I loved going to the theater to enjoy films on the big screen. Later, when I moved to another city for college, Friday nights became a time to reconnect with friends…

Hi! Hmm... What browser are you using? Can you try with another one? If you refresh the browser, do you see the same? I'm just trying with Google Chrome and Safari, and I see the table auto adjusting the size and showing all the entries as I keep adding them.

Hi @Asimetrix Atlassian , Welcome to the Community! Can you please share more details about the script? What's the custom field in the parent issue that needs to be updated? Does Jira let you edit that field if you try to update it manually? Are you getting any errors?
-
Hi @Najim Al Jabri , Can you please more details about your test status and if you're using any plugins? If this is from a gadget in a dashboard, can you open the filter linked it and extract it to a spreadsheet?
-
Hi @Tahli Lake ! Welcome to the Community! Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to auto-adjust that table. If it has many columns, it may appear very small, and the values inside the cells might not be clearly visible. Do you need all the columns? You can remove the not needed them using the Configure columns [ ].

I agree with John and Kelly. Jira Product Discovery works great to manage ideas and requirements and to integrate with Jira. I recommend these articles to get started: - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/resources/

Thanks for sharing, Steven!

Oh, interesting! I'm going to take a closer look later, but in the meantime l'm requesting assistance from the Atlassian Support team, since they can check that message about the outdated API. Thanks!

Hi @Jason Hawsey , Welcome to the Community! Have you tried to configure your MCP using Jira API tokens for authorization? If you use Oauth the access tokens expire. To create a Jira API token go to: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens To configure your MCP in Claude, I recommend to ask Claude as it…

Hi Nazama, Welcome to the Community! This is a space where Atlassian users and volunteers come together to ask questions, share best practices, and collaborate. Everyone is welcome to join and contribute, just keep in mind that participation is voluntary, not a paid role. Is that what you meant?

Hi @Devadatta Gadre , Welcome to the Community! I did a check with Cursor which indicated that the issue is in this part of the code, in jira-azuredevops-migrator-3.0.550/src/WorkItemMigrator/JiraExport/JiraProvider.cs We'd need t. make this change to refer to the new API: // OLD (causing 410 error): response =…

Yeah, I'm sorry to hear that. The good news is that the work items are not deleted and creating a new board that looks like the previous one should get you back to normal.
-
You can check Settings → System → Audit Log, but there may not be info about deleted boards there.
-
Hi @Varsha Jere , Welcome to the Community! Unfortunately boards can't be recovered after deleting them. But the data is still there. Do you remember the filter used for the board?
-
Hi @Shehan Sandeepa , Decide with your team which process works best for them (e.g., Scrum or Kanban). Personally, I prefer Scrum because using story points and tracking velocity adds predictability. Epics: Create epics for features that span about one month to one quarter. Stories: Break down epics into stories that fit…

Understood. Unfortunately, 'Components' is not editable from this subtask table view, like Karan confirmed.
-
Hi @Naveen Sundar , Welcome to the Community! I just tried on my Jira instance and observed the same behavior for the 'Components' field (and not for others) so I believe that 'Components' is read-only in that view of sub-tasks. As a workaround (if you're looking for one), you can go to the Filters section, pull up the…

Hi @Kavitha Chandrasekaran , It should work, but just to make sure you don't experience issues (like the ones Matteo mentioned), can you run a test and try to import a backup into a sandbox? https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/export-issues/

In addition to Matteo's and Kai's answers, this article may also be helpful: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/deprecation-notice-user-privacy-api-migration-guide/

Hi @Matt Baker , I think you could export and import a CSV with the issues and their attachments from one instance to another. This other post has some ideas: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/Export-Import-attachments/qaq-p/1168399 and refers to this article to import the attachments referred in the…

Hi @ISSUE BADGE , This is a very interesting question! I think showing recognition and appreciation is very important to keep everyone in the team motivated. I love the idea of integrating gamification in Jira and creating badges and sending messages when hitting certain milestones. We've used Achievers and Bonusly,…

I have two kids. At the start of the school year, one was excited to go back while the other wasn’t. A few weeks in, they’ve completely switched...Now the one who dreaded it is happy with new friends, and the one who was thrilled isn’t enjoying it as much. Guess that’s the challenge of having high expectations!

Hi @Prateek , Welcome to the Community! Do you have more details on the specific requirements for your use case? You could create a portal where people can enter requests: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/set-up-and-manage-portal-access/ and also set an integration with a knowledge base in…

Also, is it always the same rule that executes when triggering them simultaneously?

Hi @Vinayak Kumar Prem - can you please check the field configuration associated to your project, to make sure that the field is there? https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/what-are-issue-field-configuration-schemes/ In Jira settings, look for the field configuration scheme associated to your…

Hi @Vinayak Kumar Prem , Welcome to the Community! If you export all the fields, does the test repository field show in the CSV file? Can you see the field in the screen for the issues you're trying t export?
