Hello and welcome to Atlassian community @Santanu Roy
That's supported but not the way you think.

@Santanu Roy welcome to the community. Jira does support Create with Rovo from the Releases page, and saved release notes can appear under Related work. But I don’t see a documented native Rovo Agent skill that executes that full release-note workflow autonomously. The built-in Release Notes Drafter drafts notes; for agent-driven execution, you’d likely need Automation/Forge/API support rather than instructions alone.
Hi @Santanu Roy
To add to Arek's and Valeri's answers: the release notes option on a version's page is a UI action, and I haven't seen it exposed as something a Rovo agent can execute. If you need it hands-free, the closest native route is an Automation rule on the Version released trigger: a Lookup work items step with fixVersion = {{version.id}}, a Rovo agent step to draft the text from {{lookupIssues}}, then an action that writes the result where you need it (a Confluence page, a comment or a Slack message). As far as I know, linking it under Related work is still a manual step.
fixVersion = {{version.id}}
{{lookupIssues}}
If the main goal is simply good release notes for each version without building that plumbing, you could try Release Notes AI. You pick a release inside the project and click Generate. It reads every work item in the version, with no 20-item limit, and saves the notes against that release, so you can edit them, come back to them later or copy them wherever they need to go.
Full disclosure, I'm the app creator so I'm obviously biased.
Hope that helps!
Kind Regards,
Rhys
