They've appeared on my screen to the left of my boards. I often share screen in a meeting and I don't want the audience to see them and I don't want to use them. How do I remove them please?
Hi Liz, I understand the screen-sharing worry — those items sit in Trello's left-hand navigation, so they show up before you even open a board. For meetings, the quickest fix is to collapse that whole sidebar before you share your screen. Look for the small collapse arrow at the top of the left navigation and click it, so only the board itself is visible. That hides Planner and Email from the audience without changing anything else. If you want them gone more permanently, first check whether they were added to a particular board as a Power-Up. Open the board, open Show menu, then Power-Ups, and disable anything you do not use. If they are part of Trello's main navigation rather than a board Power-Up, there is no separate uninstall button for them, so collapsing the sidebar is the practical way to keep them out of sight. It is also worth sharing just the single board tab or window in your meeting tool, rather than your whole screen, so the Trello navigation is never in view at all. I hope that helps, and let us know if the items return after you collapse the sidebar, as that would point to a workspace setting rather than a board setting.
Hey @Liz Noble
If you're referring to the new Inbox and Planner panels in Trello 👀, (and as Dario already partially covered) you should be able to hide them by clicking their respective buttons in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts:

You can find more information in the official Trello navigation documentation.
As far as I'm aware, there's currently no native option to permanently remove these features from Trello's navigation, but you can collapse the panels so they don't take up space alongside your boards.
One thing worth mentioning: collapsing the panels won't necessarily hide the navigation buttons at the bottom themselves.
Cheers, Tobi
You're very welcome, Liz — really glad that helped, and thanks for letting us know. One small habit that has saved me a bit of faff before calls: once you have collapsed the sidebar, give the board a quick refresh and a glance before you join the meeting, just to check it is still tucked away. That way you are not adjusting it while everyone is watching. Hope your next screen share feels a lot calmer!
Thank you both so much!!!
