Throwback Thursday: shared birthdays? #TBT

The day I wrote this post was my youngest daughter's birthday. Later that day, my sister brought the news that her daughter had given birth to a daughter. So now my daughter and my great-niece share the same birthday.

My wife, her mom, and my wife's step-grandma are all 20 years apart. So every 10 years, there are three big birthdays in the family. Few years ago, they turned 40, 60, and 80 :)

Soooo, any shared birthdays in your family or friend group?

That's so special! I can't think of any shared birthdays like that, but we have tons of November birthdays in my family. My mom shares her birthday with Mickey Mouse, too. 🤩

Not sure whether sharing a birthday is a good thing or not! 😅 I guess it depends on how much you guys love celebrating birthdays! 🥳

As for us, we're a relatively small family, and we don't have any shared birthdays, but quite a few that are close together!
So there have been (and still are!) plenty of birthday lunches throughout the year, as everyone likes to celebrate their own! 😄

Hi, yes, we do! My father-in-law and I share the same birthday, even though we’re almost 40 years apart. You can guess that he’s already quite old - but I’m still young! My theory is that my wife chose me because now she only has to organize one birthday dinner or party. 😘🤣

Thanks for sharing such a lovely story! What a special coincidence that your daughter and great-niece share the same birthday.

I don't have quite the same situation in my family, but one of my closest friends was born on her brother's 7th birthday. They fought like any brother and sister would while growing up, but she always says that one of her dearest childhood memories is when he told her she was the best birthday present he had ever received. I think that's such a sweet thing to say, especially coming from a brother. 😊
