Sorry I'm late to this one. Cherry Blasters! I has the same love hate relationship with them I did with Salt & Vinegar chips. They are both sweet & sour at the same time and they really dry out your mouth if you eat too many of them.
Starburst!
In india we used to get Poppins , I used to have a lot of them . I just loved that and always hated to share it
Jolly Ranchers. They were cheap and they lasted a long time if you did not chew them.
I had a phase where I loved these two 😄
The yellow one was my favorite, the taste used to be similar to caramel.
I love lot of chocolates dairy milk, 5-star, snikers etc....
@vikram - my man!!
@vikram, Snickers is still a dangerously tempting thing for me. Especially the Snickers Ice Cream bar. 😆
Skittles... they are my nemesis.
Sorry, I am a bit late to this post!
My favorite ones were the below candies/chocolates in my younger days back in India:
- Nestle Milkybar
- Alpenliebe
- Pan Pasand
@Taranjeet Singh - Those look tasty!
@John Funk You are absolutely right! Those were some really yummy candies and are still continuing in the market in India. You can't just eat only one.
The favorite candy when I was a child
> Oh the days of munching Chick o Stick when I had enough money to buy one. Always checking the payphone change return for coins and collecting pop bottles to turn in for the deposit. As soon as I had enough, straight to the store to buy a chick o stick.OMG @Dean Schaffer it have been ages sinse I have eaten or seen a `Chick o Stick` ,but they were great
It has to be Turkish Delight for me!
milkos
I haven't seen this one mentioned, but I always loved collecting Pez dispensers! The candy was so-so, but the collection was always growing. Not my photo, but I remember these vividly.
Oh @Amanda Barber You just unlocked so many memories with PEZ.
Didn't know its history goes back as far as the 1920's: The History of PEZ
WOW, @Dave Mathijs - I had no idea!
