Weâre looking forward to hearing more about how you plan to use Loom and learning more about what excites you.
An awesome tool for recording demo sessions. Weâve already used it for plugin development and customer demonstrations.
Split and confetti buttons! Woaah!
Going full screen and zooming in is so helpful!!
Create quick shareable short videos! this is the fastest method of KT compared to going through a lot of documentation! also We need more "Dark Mode"
you can create a loom and then in {} make it personal to a distribution list
I am a daily Loom user and yet this course has been very good for me. Thank you very much for the content!
Very cool videographic software, my key takeaway is to actually give Loom a try and not put it on the backburner.
So many practical tips that it's hard to choose which one to try out first. Removing unnecessary content functionality comes in handy! đ
I liked the Loom overall. I can think of alternate to screen share tools even inside browser, inside Atlassian.
Â
The best part is "Loom is on the go" boom! you can even use it on your Mobile phone as a screen share tool.
I have just downloaded it on my Android phone, it is free to install and accepts even Atlassian credentials. Alternatively it allows a free signup.
Fantastic tool
I love Loom overall, but the fantastic point I love more than everything else.Â
1) Screenshare
2) On the go, which allows screen share on the Go.
Additionally, it is free to download from Google play. I have just downloaded mine on my Android phone. It allows to login with Atlassian credentials. Alternatively, allows for free signup.
I loved screen share and screen recording feature.
Loved, it is available on the Mobile phone too.
Just came across this hidden gem. As always, outstanding work by @Matt Reiner _K15t_
To me, editing by transcript is such a convenient feature!
Really enjoyed the session. Iâm excited to start using Loom for quick feedback instead of typing everything out. The AI summaries look super helpful too. Looking forward to trying it.
Loom is so powerful and there are so many features. I would like my users to start using it without getting overwhelmed or intimidated.Â
A short Loom "getting started video" maybe? :-)
One thing I am missing is a simple comparison showing what features are available depending on if you are on Standard or Premium or Enterprise.
I just watched the "Get started with Atlassian Loom" recording and I liked it. đ
I'm excited about the features to try Loom AI, Record your screen.
Here's what I remember:
Plan your message: Before recording, outline the key points.
Use the title effectively: Make it descriptive so viewers know what to expect.
Break it into chapters (Loom supports timestamp-based chapters): This helps viewers jump to the sections they care about.
Stick to 2â5 minutes for most use cases, like updates, walkthroughs, or feedback.
AI transcriptions is cool!
I love Matt's sessions đ. This was another amazing session @Matt Reiner _K15t
Thanks @Kristie Riojas for sharing this article đ
As a new user of Loom, the below features I loved for playing around using Loom :Â
The possibility of having music as stimulation, as well as the rewind and pause functions, is great.
Loom is a very useful tool for extremely short to medium length demonstrations and explanations!
The AI-generated meeting notes and video transcription are brilliant features! =]
Confetti is cool, but ability to pause is definitely more valuable. Thanks for sharing!
Practial tips are great!
It was really a nice session bout Loom! I took my notes!
Use keyboard shortcuts to record faster and look more natural on camera.
There were four Loom features that stood out to me:
1. No add-on for AI or speech-to-text transcription: It's built in and the transcriber is accurate.
2. Title, summaries, chaptering, trimming/editing audio, video, and captions all happens within the Loom app. No tracking down .vtts and .srts, no having to edit audio in one app and video in another.Â
3. Users can record themselves and screen record on both computer and mobile, and start/stop if need be.
4. Videos can be longform or shorts; very convenient for users recording and sending bugs/errors they are experiencing and Support Desks being able to physically see their actions with the error. That makes for a very efficient, first response solution and much less frustrating experience for all involved!Â
Thanks for sharing! useful tips!
I recently started using Loom, and I can say that the possibilities of editing suite surprised me positively!Â
Like for meeting summaries with Rovo & Loom!
