Unable to clone Git Repository from local Mac Server, unable to login authentication using terminal

Hi!

I am now migrating our MacOS Server from older Mac mini, and the newer version of MacOS Server doesn't host repositories anymore.

So now, I am cloning every repositories we have on our local server. I use accounts that we use to login on our server but it still won't clone, I already tried to authenticate it by trying different accounts we use there using our new server's terminal app and it just keep asking me to put the username and password like crazy! It's really frustrating.

Hello!

If I understand correctly, you migrated you FishEye/ Crucible instance from one Macbook to another. The repositories were also hosted on your old Macbook. Now you're attempting to migrate the repositories and host those on the new Macbook as well? Or are you trying to reconfigure each repository URL to point to the old Macbook?

This password is not meant to be the server's local user password, it would be the password to the Git user for the hosted repository.

Hello, thank you for answering Ben!

Yeah, we have an old mac mini hosting our git using MacOS Server app, but since the new update won't do it now then we have to migrate entirely. But I think I wouldn't update my version of Mac Server so it would still be okay.

To answer the password part, we used the git server's user (the one with mac server) username and password but still not working, on my terminal it just repeat itself on asking password. But it seems to be working now, I don't know how. I just restart my new mac mini.

But right now, I am having another problem, I migrated our database to MySQL and now cannot read table 'crucibledb.AO_8219d4_commit_hook_config' doesn't exist. Other functions seems to be migrated to the new database but not that.

And I cannot see the commit history and everything, but on my sourcetree I can. And it's forever indexing, lol.

Hey Josh,

You should probably open a new questoin for that to get the wider community involved. My first question would be, what is the full error message and stack trace in your Crucible logs and what migraiton method did you follow?

The problem is when I try to click the Smart Hook Commit, it is not accessible because the database is not changed even when I already changed it from the UI. But yeah, thanks for answering. The crucible and fisheye is now working.
