Removing PORTFOLIO Licenses for Some Users

Hi,

As Jira Portfolio is providing the facility to Plan and Manage Team's Capacity as well as Availability. So do we need to buy number of License for this Add-on or only single Licence will work. Who and where Capacity will get be added in Jira?

Only Project Managers can do it or for whole team we need to have access in Jira Portfolio? In our case, only PMO member is going to see the data and reports under this in Jira. Please do confirm do we need to go with number of licences or only 1 license will work.

Portfolio licences required the same as Jira licenses, it will be same for any other add-on as well,

Just have a look once on Jira Portfolio settings as well as plan settings to more about permission access levels for admin/viewing/editing the plan.

We don’t want to give access in it to whole team, so in that case I guess Jira Portfolio can be taken for few users only which will be for PM, TL and Solution Architects. Please suggests.

Which all of them required access, just create a group/groups then Portfolio settings place the group for level of access permissions.

Jira Administrators will have all the plans access except restricted plans.

Yea if this is the case than for 50 team members we don’t need to have access in it because they won’t be using it. We can buy licence for selected users who are actuall going to use it to generate portfolio level reports. Please correct me if it’s wrong.
