How can I prevent the boards drawer from opening each time I return to a board?

Each time I return to a board (even if it was still open in my browser and I was in a different browser tab for a minute), the boards drawer opens. Even if I closed it previously. 

This just started happening in the past couple of days. It may be because I copied someone else's template? 

But there must be a way to turn off this "feature" (I hope).

Any thoughts? Thanks much!

If you are using the app on pc/mac/ios/android this is the default way in which the app works!
