Where does sourcetree store passwords?

Question

This is somewhat vague simply because I don't know where to look or what for.

Symptom is after the latest update of sourcetree for windows it seems like sourcetree tries to logon somewhere using an old password stored somewhere.

Whenever I start sourcetree my account is locked in the course of 30 minutes or so.

Git reposity access is using ssh and keys so no password involved

There is no prompt for password and I've removed possible login I found in sourcetree.

As far as I recall I used to be prompted for password after password change but that is not happening this time.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Sorry, re-reading.

You are using SSH so there is no password to store, assuming you are using a key pair.

If you are using a key pair it's difficult to see easily why it would either work at all if it was the wrong key pair or fail after 30 minutes if it was the right key pair.

You don't have multiple remotes or multiple keys etc?

Curious.

There are no entries for sourcetree in Credentials Manager, never the less my account becomes locked when sourcetree has been running for some time (appr 30 minutes based on observation).

No entries for git or similar.

Could it be that it stored system-wide? (I don't have local-admin right any longer so I can't check)

Sourcetree shares storage with Git and Mercurial.

All the credentials are stored in the Windows Credential Manager, the git ones prefixed with 'git:', mercurial 'hg:' and any REST ones as 'sourcetree:'
