Bamboo - Getting Test Results in to Bamboo

I have Bamboo running and carrying out my build and running tests.  MY tests produce results files:  I am having trouble feeding the tests results back in to Bamboo.

I am creating log fills from CTest (these as .log files and not in xml format).  I have the CTest add-in (by CSTB) task running within Bamboo.  The set-up for this add-in seems to require a xml file.

How do I get CTest to generate an xml file or can the CTest add-in accept other forms of results file?

I am very new to all of this and have done some extensive searching to find an answer; to but had no luck.

Any leads from anyone?

Hi @Steve Newnham,

Running ctest with the option -T Test will make CTest generate an XML output file in a sub-folder Testing inside the build folder:

cd build
/usr/local/bin/ctest --no-compress-output -T Test || /usr/bin/true

Perhaps CTest Task for Bamboo is capable of reading this output and display it in Bamboo's UI.
