Continuously asking for CAPTCHA in Git/Sourcetree

Hi Team,

Whenever the user is trying the check in the code through Git terminal then the CAPTCHA window is popped up for each time.

I have clear the CAPTCHA for many times still it is asking the same...this happens for only two users.

Anyone has gone through this, if so, their suggestion will be more helpful.

Can you clarify, are you doing a git push to a Bitbucket repository from the terminal and then getting a popup dialog asking you to enter credentials and in that process getting CAPTCHA requests?

If so those users should explicitly logout out of Bitbucket.org and then log back in, this should clear any locks on their account.

There have been some issues with the Git Credential Manager that ships with Git for Windows, the current most stable setup is to use Git for Windows 2.19.0 which contains Git Credential Manager 1.17.1. You can configure Sourcetree to use this as a System Git in Tools/Options/Git tab
