Installed Atlassian Companion on Mac - won't open, can't uninstall

Downloaded and installed on Mac 10.9.5 but now app will neither open nor be moved to trash. What's the fix???

The latest Sourcetree is only compatible with 10.11 or higher. You'll need to download an older release from the Download Archives.
