Not able to add new directory to my existing project in Heroku with Sourcetree

Can't add a new folder to an existing project. I&nbsp;made a few changes previously and push them with no issues. Then I dropped the new directory into<span>&nbsp;</span><strong>projects/&nbsp;</strong>but I am not seeing the&nbsp;new folder added in Sourcetree. Also, this new directory is not empty. What am I doing wrong?

Never mind. I don't know how but I had a .git tracking file in the projects/ dir. So, I run rm -rf .git* and problem fixed.
