Not able to start Bamboo server

Hello,

Today is my first day with Bamboo server and trying to set it up for exploring something.

I use Windows 10 and the bamboo ZIP Archive (.zip) ( not the installer).

I have set JAVA_HOME (and there is no space in the path where Java is installed ) and I have a JDK which is supported for Bamboo. I have set the Bamboo home directory etc.

When I run start-bamboo.bat from the Bamboo installation directory , it do not run successfuly

it do not throw any error too, so it bit difficult for me to trouble shoot the issue.

Please let me know if you have any idea or tips for trouble shooting

Give the full rights to the Bamboo Home directory and see.

You can see the error details in <Bamboo_home>/logs/atlassian-bamboo.log file.

it do not start up at all and Bamboo home directory is empty.

So no log file also generated. So thats the problem in trouble shooting the issue

HI ,

I too started Bamboo today only and faced the same issue. ATlast found that i am using JDK VERSION NOT SUPPORTED BY BAMBOO. use JDK 1.8 and its running fine now. May this solve your issue
