Set Up Source Tree

I have created new repository and selected as the folder my Unreal Engine project folder.  It created a .git folder.  But, I see nothing in Source Tree.  It is still blank. 

 

My project has already been created ad I want to add Source Tree for version control as I move forward.  I am stumped

If your working directory is tracked by Sourcetree/git then simple change any file in the working directory and the changes will be tracked and shown into the source tree and then commit and push the changes.
