Trello: Change Layout of Lists

unknown

Hello Everyone,

I had to switch to Edge from Chrome and need the Edge ext equivalent of the Chrome ext. List Layouts for Trello. This ext allowing the Trello board layout from horizontal to a grid. This effectively "wraps" the lists around so that the list fit on the screen and scrolling to the right is not required.

I need this on my Weekly To Do board where I have a list for each day plus 2 more.

Thanks in advance,

Chip

Interesting!

Looks like the secret sauce of the Chrome extension is the CSS: https://github.com/sudonatalie/layout-trello/blob/master/css/layout.css

Tampermonkey is available for Edge so you could "build your own" in Edge without having to create a whole Edge extension from scratch. It's not a drop-in replacement but a good CSS learning opportunity and getting into the how-it's-made of extensions.

Thanks Daniel. I will have to learn the art of this programming language next week when I return from vacation.

Hi Daniel,

This is a great script. However, I have one beginner's problem. I can figure out how to "run" the installed script in Edge. I got Tampermonkey installed, enabled and running. I've got the script you recommend installed.

Unfortunately, I can find any commands in the Tampermonkey icon which starts a script. All I get is the line at the top are lines saying Enabled and No scripts running.

I've spent hours going over Tompermonkey videos about writing scripts, gone over the Tampermonkey FAQ but I still haven't found the "run" command. My face is red with embarrassment.

Please help,

Chip

Couldn't fix the wrap around issue via userscripts so I use the Planyway calendar to show all my tasks by date which worked out much better in the end.

Thanks again,

Chip
