SourceTree 2.5.5 not Launching, Windows 10

Hi,

After updating to last version of SourceTree (to 2.5.5) the application is not launching.  I have tested some of the solutions from similar post in this forum with not luck. Even unistall and re-install, reboot, etc...

 

I think that there is problem with installation. It´s seem that the issue has to do do with ".betaId" file, here is the log from SquirrelSetup

Hi

That error should not effect running Sourcetree.

Can you confirm if Sourcetree has installed in to the %localappdata%\Sourcetree folder?

It should contain a Sourcetree.exe file in that folder, actually a shortcut, and then in an %localappdata%\Sourcetree\app-2.5.5 the main installation.

What actually happens if you try to run %localappdata%\Sourcetree\app-2.5.5\Sourcetree.exe?

If Sourcetree cannot start at all there should be an entry in the Event Viewer, if Sourcetree can start but fails to successfully initialize there should be something in %localappdata%\Atlassian\Sourcetree\Sourcetree.log
