Has anyone successfully used bamboo for Nunit automation scripts?

Hey everyone,

Has anyone successfully used bamboo for Nunit automation scripts? Right now I have all my scripts in bamboo and on occasions they all pass. But for the majority of time the tests (agents) either hang up or it states 'No failed tests found, a possible compilation error occurred'. 

Anyone have any advice on how to correct this and remove this false positives?

Hi Shane,

What is the NUnit version you are running 3.x or 2.x? (Bamboo is only able to parse NUnit reports in NUnit2 format).

There's an open feature request for this to support NUnit 3.0. Please vote and comment on it.

The workaround is that the NUnit tests need to be converted to NUnit 2 if they are running NUnit 3.

You can test this in a new plan by manually placing the generated XML file to the build directory and then use the NUnit parser just to see if the issue is with the parser.
