Deleting a list with repeated cards?

I recently re-organized my Trello board and I want to delete a couple of lists. However these list have repeating cards (some everyday, some once a month, once a year, etc...). I have moved all the everyday repeating cards to a new lists but for the ones that repeat less often, it has been difficult. What happens to these cards if I delete the list that they repeat on? Does that delete the card too? Do they show up on another list? Is there a way to search for all repeating cards in a list?

Hi Ryan,

Happy to help clarify here. For one thing, you can't actually fully delete a list. The only action you can take on a list is archiving it. If you archive an entire list, all of the cards will also be archived. Archiving a card with an active Repeat on it will not stop the repeat.

 

Only disabling the Repeat or deleting the card itself will stop the repeat.

 

If you click on the word "Repeats" at the top of your board, you'll see a list of cards that are currently repeating.
