Quick search/switch for boards on desktop app

Freddy Vallenilla

So right now in order to quick switch between boards I need to know the numerical index of the board.

Is there a shortcut available to search for a board by name to switch between them?

I'm looking for something like in the Trello Chrome extension where typing "t" then tab lets me run a search for a board by name.

Hi Freddy,

Marta here, from Trello Support.

Right now, I'm afraid it's not possible to switch boards like that on the desktop app. You can have several boards open and then browse between them by clicking CMD + ` on your keyboard if that helps. Alternatively, you can star the ones you use most frequently so when you click on the "Boards" button, your most relevant boards appear on top of the list.

This being said, I’ll pass your interest in this on to our team for consideration—let me know if there's any additional info you'd like for me to send their way.

If you're curious about how our team decides on what requests we work on, this article gives some insight into that process: http://help.trello.com/article/724-submitting-feature-requests-for-trello.
