What are the main differences between Sourcetree for Win and for Mac? When will the functionality be almost the same in both versions? Will they ever be the same? Will they ever show the same versioning scheme?It's pretty confusing and frustrating searching this site (or https://jira.atlassian.com) for answers/problems - and finding a seemingly suitable answer, in order to recognize that the given answer relates to the Mac-version and is not suitable for Win-Version (see for example (several more examples could be added): Where can I find the "Interactive Rebase" Dialog in SourceTree )I would prefer to have dedicated searching facilities for "SourceTree for Win" and "SourceTree for Mac" as long as the don't support the identical feature sets and don't have identical versioning scheme.

The plan is currently to have ST4Win at approximately the same feature level as ST4Mac 1.5 by October and the version numbers will sync up at that point. ST4Mac is 2.5 years older so we're still catching up.

Shouldn't it be ST4Mac 1.6 - as this is the current version?
BTW: FAQ might be updated with more recent data (ST4Win 1.0 vs. ST4Mac 1.6)
@Johannes - you're right, we're trying to get on top of the documentation at the moment so everything's more up-to-date and easy to understand for users. Bare with us, we'll be making changes in the future.
Any news/update on this (catching up STWin with STMac features)?
It seems that you lost the trace (Oct.2013 - or did you mean Oct.20??) here - since for example interactive rebasing is still not available yet, and will not be available for a longer time (see: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/170509/where-can-i-find-the-interactive-rebase-dialog-in-sourcetree- Interactive rebasing is not yet started for STWin ...)
