What is the REST API to get session token in CR2.7.11 FE2.7.11

Question

I used following REST API to get the session token: http://host:port/rest-service/auth-v1/login?userName=&password= It gives me the following error: The requested resource cannot be found. Remote API is disabled You are running release CR2.7.11 FE2.7.11 (20120227023831 2012-02-27), please report your release number when reporting bugs. Can anyone help me to sort this out.

Dear @Hijas Ahmed,

If you plan to use the API, you will not need any session specific parts. REST as the name says is 'stateless'. So no login is required. Just use basic authentication.

In the upper message the REST interface is disabled. If you like to use it, ask your admin to enable it.
