I work in Atom. Until the latest update, double-clicking a file opened it in Atom. Since the latest update, double-clicking opens Sublime.
I cannot see in Preferences where to change that. Was it ever there?
The file type binding is handled at the OS level. You should be able to specify it by going to the "Open With…" submenu in the contextual menu and changing.
Yup. Thank you.
This is terrible (!?). This is not open in the "Editor" (any more), this is open with the O/S mapped application (which might not be an editor e.g. Windows 'cmd' script) - the double-click item in options is not wrong (/misleading).There should be a 'process using mapped application' menu item, and a specific/configured one for the edit/editor (of the user's choice); a bad design choice/regression.
