Cloning a huge git repo ends with a timeout

Hi community,

our git-repository got a little bit bigger (4,2GB instead of 3,9GB) and since that we are getting following error when Fisheye tries to clone the repository:

Unable to clone remote repository: ssh://myusername@git.server.com:12345/repository-name/ - [Cloning into bare repository 'clone'..., , Received disconnect from 10.12.34.56: 2: User session has timed out idling after 600000 ms., fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly]

It looks like 10 minutes are not enought to proceed with the actual cloning.

How can i extend this 600000 timeout?

I am facing this same issue.
Now I am not able to clone my repo, every time it is ending up with an error- EOF
Can anyone please tell me how to increase timeout in source tree, I am using windows?

Hi,

Git command timeout can be configured via Administration > Repository >> SCM Details >> Git Options section >> Command Timeout.

It's 1 hour by default though, which makes me wonder why the command times out after 10 minutes in your case. Did you by any chance modify default timeout value?
