sourcetree 2.6.1 is very slow on OSX (el capitan)

Question

I had to go back to 2.5.1 on OSX, sincd 2.6.1 is very slow, in particular when showing the differences in a big file.

What can I do?

I wanted to report it on Jira and see that it is already there.

Amazingly the problem returned even with 2.5.1

Please report the issue with details on jira.atlassian.com and if possible, inlcude files/repos causing this issue. You can also include logs found at ~/Library/Logs/SourceTree/ and any spin dumps you have.
