Can I use Source Tree (Mac) for another system?

Hi,

I have Mac OS with the newest version of Source Tree and Windows 10, virtualized through Parallels. Can I use Source Tree for Mac to add repository from Win?

I tried it but you can see the result at the picture below.

Unfortunately, It still doesn't work. It seems like after git init command, I can browse the folder in SourceTree but I can't make a commit.

SourceTree picks up your Terminal's environment (in 2.5+) when running commands - if set the specified variable in your shell's profile it should "just work" if there aren't any other problems for git when translating the paths.

Hi Michal, can you make sure that .git is present in that directory? If it's not, you can initialize it as a repository by typing git init into your command line.
