Autmatically set Option "Allow SourceTree to modify your global Git and Mercurial conﬁg ﬁles"

When I uncheck the Option

"Allow SourceTree to modify your global Git and Mercurial conﬁg ﬁles"

and then restart SourceTree, the option is automatically set again by the program.

Does this option depend on any other option?

I am using the newest version 2.1.2.5 on a Windows 7 - 64 Bit - Computer.

I can confirm, unfortunately, that is a bug, I've raised the follow ticket on our backlog to cover it.
