it keeps giving error messages asking to upgrade to 2.5.1+ even when i am using 2.5.2 or 2.5.3
Have you tried uninstalling ST and reinstalling it?

I originally had 2.5.1 when the issue started. I got 2.5.2 then 2.5.3. unfortunaly all of them have the same issue.
I am so used to Source tree that without it .. somethings missing
