Hi peter,

I have jdk 1.8 in my server and for bamboo i have installed jdk 1.7 and set JAVA Home to jdk 1.7,and started the service which is working fine.Is this the reason for causing issue?

Guide to resolve the issue.

The log file is given below comment .please check

Thanks in advance

Peter Van de Voorde

Bamboo doesn't support JDK 1.8 yet, so that's probably the cause of your problem

I'm glad you've solved it by setting your JAVA_HOME to JDK 1.7.

If you do need to switch your server to JDK 1.8 you can edit the setenv.sh file in the <bamboo install dir>/bin directory to point Bamboo to the JDK 1.7 .

Best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

Problem is not solved even i have pointed jdk 1.7 in setenv.bat file. Still it is showing as shown in above image in my previous post.Is there any other solution to resolve this issue.

Regards

Hareesh

Can you start Bamboo manually without starting the windows service?

Or does that give the same error?

Did you interrupt the installation procedure in any way? Because the log file seems to indicate that the setup hasn't finished yet.

Otherwise I would advice you to remove everything and try the install again.

Best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter ,

I have tried in another virtual machine.Which has come up pretty well.My previous installation is interrupting because of the application server (Websphere) which i have in my server.Where few of my applications are deployed in that.
