Add notification to assignee on sub-task

It would be super useful to our team if they got an email notification when a sub-task is assigned to them. 

I know that Notification Schemes can be configured but sub-tasks are excluded from this configuration. See https://community.atlassian.com/t5/JIRA-questions/notification-email-after-assigning-a-task/qaq-p/148630

I don't understand "sub tasks are excluded".  If an issue is assigned to you, and your notification scheme says to notify you, it will.

It does not look at the issue type, it's irrelevant.
