Is FishEye a read-only application?

An easy question, I know, but I just want to be sure:

does FishEye do only reading of a Perforce reopsitory, or are there situations where writing is required?

Read-only as far as I am aware

Yes, FishEye is a read only view onto your SCM. It will not perform or require any write access.
