Is there any way to create a Bamboo plan via the REST API, or a custom plugin? I don't see any documented way to do this, and need to be able to create projects and plans via code.
This support is well underway as part of Bamboo Command Line Interface. Watch BCLI-47, BCLI-48, and related issues (requires a login in). EAP participants are welcome.
Does that mean that the API additions are part of a plugin? Or will it be part of an official Bamboo release?
That's great. If it is available as an add-on, then we could use it with our current version of Bamboo, correct? We would be very interested in making use of the new REST endpoints.
I am working on Trade Depot for Bamboo which provides a REST api for creating plans. It is still under development but you can try the beta and checkout the project homepage for details on what is finished.
Feel free to add feature requests to the issue tracker or just provide any feedback you may have.
