Crowd: an opinion

Hello all, I wanted to ask you for an opinion.

I would like to be able to do a lot of "operations" with our Confluence user list, like moving batch of people in and out groups, duplicate groups and maybe even get some statistic on segments of users.

Our confluence users are 30% from a LDAP directory and 70% from internal directory.

I am wondering if Crowd could be a good solution for my needs or not, given that we don't use JIRA nor any other Atlassian tool but Confluence.

Could you share an opinion with me? Many thanks already

I am sure Crowd does not have any statistics to provide you and it does not duplicate groups for you too. So, that might not be the right solution for you. 

You can still manage users, groups and memberships in Confluence whether the user is an internal directory user or a Crowd user.
