Hi,

Is it possible to configuring a Release Note template specific to a project? If so, how do I configure in JIRA?.

By doing this, we will able to configure project specific custom fields.

Actually it is not possible. What I did was to change the release note Velocity template to something like this:

#if($project == "myproject")
  ## myproject code here
#else
  ## default code here
#end

Of course this will not scale if there are a lot of projects. So I filed https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-40338. So maybe things may change in the future.
