Is it possible to clear the recent commit messages dropdown?

The recent commit messages dropdown is super helpful. But is there any way to clear it or clean it up? Mine is getting long with unused messsages.

Accepted answers

It only actually saves the last 20 so it should clean itself up over time.

Thanks Steve. Unfortunately, that wasn't the answer I was looking for. I'll open a feature request to have it added.
