Recover Trello account without access to old work email

I need help recovering my original Trello account and all my boards.

My account was created using my former employer's email address, which I no longer have access to. I know my login credentials, but Atlassian requires a verification code sent to that old email address. I'm not logged in on any other devices.

I've created a new Trello account using my personal Gmail address so I can request assistance.

Is there a way to verify ownership of my original account and either recover access or transfer my boards to my new account?

I'd appreciate help connecting with the appropriate support team.

Hi @Ann Marie Roush,

Because Atlassian accounts are tied directly to the registered email address, Atlassian Support cannot bypass email verification, change an account’s email, or grant access without verification sent to that address.

Here are your best options to regain access:

• Contact your former employer’s IT team: Ask them to temporarily reactivate your old inbox or set up a short-lived email forward/alias. Once you receive the login code, sign in and immediately change your primary email to a personal address under Atlassian Account Settings.
• Ask existing board/workspace members: If your boards were shared or part of a workspace with other admins, they can invite your new personal account directly to the boards and promote you to admin.
