Hi,
I’m experiencing a regression with Trello board filters saved in the URL.
I use bookmarked filtered views of the same board as part of my daily workflow.
Steps to reproduce
- Open a Trello board.
- Apply a label filter, for example Sales.
- The filter works correctly and Trello generates an URL like:
https://trello.com/b/XXXXXXXX/my-gtd?filter=label:Sales
- Copy that exact URL.
- Open it in a new browser tab.
Actual result
The URL initially contains:
?filter=label:Sales
but during page loading Trello removes the filter parameter and opens the unfiltered board.
The same happens with multiple labels, for example:
?filter=label:Production%20Management,label:Admin,label:Sales,label:Priority
Important detail
This seems to be specific to label filters.
If I apply a filter for cards assigned to me, the generated filtered URL persists correctly when opened in another tab.
So URL-based filtering itself still works, but restoring label filters from the URL does not.
Troubleshooting already performed
- Cleared Trello site data, cache and cookies
- Disabled browser extensions
- Tested in Incognito/private mode
- Tested in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge
- Manually applying the same label filters inside Trello always works correctly
- Copying the exact URL generated by Trello reproduces the issue
This used to work correctly and is important for my workflow because I have several bookmarked filtered views of the same GTD board.
Has anyone else reproduced this recently, or is this a known regression affecting label filters?
Thanks.
