How can I remove "Inbox" from the left side of the screen while in Board View?

Question

Is there any way to keep my Inbox from cluttering up the Board View? Why is there not a "Hide" or "Collapse" button on this feature that I don't use?

Hey @Robert Paul Stewart ,

If we're talking about the browser version, you should be able to simply click on the bottom "Inbox" button 👆 (or use g + i on the keyboard) as Anwesha said.

It also took me a while to figure out that I just need to click the button at the bottom rather than find the expand/collapse one on the left or x button within the Inbox panel itself 😅

Unfortunately, there is no native setting or toggle in Trello to permanently turn off, hide, or remove the Inbox feature from the board view.

But you can minimize its impact depending on your interface:

* Toggling the Panel: If the Inbox drawer is actively open and pushing your board lists aside, clicking the Inbox button or the close/collapse icon (X or arrow, depending on your app version) typically closes the open panel to reclaim horizontal board space.
* Sidebar Views: If the feature is displayed in a collapsible navigation sidebar, collapsing the sidebar will help maximize your board area.
