Welcome Wednesday: Favorite foldables?

Dave LIAO

G'day Atlassian Community!

Last week Apple released their first foldable smartphone, and I'm looking forward to trying it. Naturally, Jira and Trello will be part of my tests!

Microsoft released an Android-powered smartphone awhile ago, which I tested with Jira and Pokemon Go:

📣 What are your favorite foldables, and why? Looking forward to your replies in the comments! Even if you're not into foldables - or curious - chime in!

💡 This has been a Welcome Wednesday, an opportunity for you to participate on the forums. (Curious? See past Welcome Wednesdays)

A good old-fashioned paper map still deserves a little love. It never needs a battery, yet somehow it’s always impossible to fold back properly. 😄
When it comes to smartphones, I love the idea of having a tablet-sized screen right in my pocket especially for checking Jira boards or Confluence pages while traveling.

As a Samsung fan, I really like the Samsung Flip! 😄 Today's phones are getting so big, and I love how practical the Flip is. It fits easily in your pocket, doesn't take up much space, and still gives you a full-sized screen when you need it.

For me, that compact design is a big plus! 📱💙

I think my favorite foldable has to be a tortilla…it's so versatile and delicious! 😜

Yummy

I never got into paper maps, except as something to hang in a flat. 😆 🗺️

Being able to multitask on two screens (or two dedicated panes) is so refreshing! Better than jumping back and forth on a single screen.

I wonder when Apple will make a clamshell-type smartphone? (I wonder what it'd be called? 🙃)

Mmm, tortillas…
