Make my business email a separate account because of inability to login

I am writing about my Loom account under my business email. My Google Workspace domain is part of my firm's enterprise system (Forefront Wealth Partners), and Loom keeps trying to link my account to the Forefront team workspace. Connecting to the team would add a license charge to my firm, which I want to avoid.

Could someone at Loom please set me up with a separate individual account that is not linked to the Forefront team? I would like to use my Chalk Money email and branding if possible.

My use case is recording short video messages to send to clients and prospects (links shared through our client messaging app). I already have an email/password login and two-factor authentication set up on the account.

Please confirm once the account is separate, and let me know if there is anything I need to do to keep it from being re-linked to the team.

Hi Jay, quick note - this is a public forum and I'd recommend removing your email address from the post.

I assume that Forefront's admins have probably verified chalkmoney.com with Atlassian. Because of that, Loom either suggests or automatically assigns accounts on that domain to the Forefront workspace. You have a couple of options:

Keep your Loom account separate by using a personal email. If you don’t want your account tied to Forefront at all, change the email on your existing Loom account to an address outside the verified domain, such as a personal address or a different domain you control. Do this from Personal Settings. Your existing videos stay with the account under the new email. If your profile already shows “Your profile is linked to Atlassian,” the email is managed in your Atlassian profile. If that account is managed by Forefront, only their Atlassian admin can change it.

Note: If you want to have the benefits of using the company branding, the easiest option is to use their Workspace and account.

If you’re stuck at login, contact Loom support with your exact email, the workspace name, and whether that workspace is managed in Loom or in Atlassian Administration. They can see which setting is restoring your membership. Here's your options for directly contacting support:
