Restore button missing from Archive pop-up. Stopping a list being restored from Archive.

Hello,

I need help recovering an archived Trello list.

The list appears in Archived items, but the only visible controls are the list name and the rubbish-bin icon. The Restore button is no longer visible.

A card displays the message “This card is in an archived list”, and I cannot find the list on my board.

Could you please advise how I can restore the original list without deleting any data?

Thanks Arek and Liam. I have tried Incognito and I got the same result.

@Liam, I have 25 lists on this board and the 26th is archived.

I will contact Atlassian Support.

Hi @Richard Serpell,

Could you let me know how many lists you currently have on this board (both open and archived)? This will help narrow down why the Restore button isn't showing.

In the meantime, please try opening the same board in an incognito/private browsing window or a different browser and check whether the Restore option appears. If it does, try disabling extensions in your usual browser and updating it. These checks are covered in

If the option is still missing in every browser, I'd recommend contacting Atlassian Support for further assistance with your case.

Please try an incognito window and confirm that you're a member of the board with editing permissions.
