DNS CNAME For Status Page

Question

Hello! We are trying to get a DNS CNAME record to relay our users to the actual Status Page URL. It doesn't seem to matter how we configure things we continue to get errors when we try to use the CNAME. I do not believe it is a DNS issue.

Does anyone know if this behavior is normal when using the free version of Status.io? Is using a CNAME a limitation of the free version? Thanks to anyone that has advice.

One question: Are you using Atlassian Statuspage or Status.io? They're two different services.

Yes, if you're using Atlassian Statuspage, custom domains aren't supported on the Free plan.

Also, you can use URL forwarding through your domain provider.
