Blank screen on consent page when connecting Trello MCP

Hi,

When I try to connect the Trello MCP from Claude Code, the Trello consent auth page does not load - it's just a blank screen.

In the console it shows that requests to https://auth.atlassian.com/consent/info fail with a 500 error.

This appears account specific as I try to log in with my personal account and it works. I am the owner of both accounts.

It does not appear browser specific - tried in multiple browsers and in private browsing.

I know that Atlassian had MCP issues yesterday, however the status page indicates that these have been resolved.

Any ideas?

In addition to what Mihai said, if the affected account belongs to an organization, you could also visit Atlassian Administration and check these settings:

* Connectors → Atlassian MCP server: whether the relevant client/domain is allowed.
* Permissions: whether Trello read and write permissions are enabled.
* Directory → User accounts: if the account is organization-managed, verify it is listed under the expected organization.

These settings are documented in Trello's official MCP troubleshooting guide. They are more likely to explain authorization restrictions than a raw HTTP 500, so I would treat them as checks rather than assume one is the cause.

Hi @Jamie Tidman, two people reported the same blank Trello consent screen from Claude yesterday on https://community.atlassian.com/forums/discussion/3276822, so it's unlikely to be your browser.

Trello MCP is a separate server. The Rovo status page doesn't cover it.

Since only one account fails, check that account first: can it open Trello, is it in a workspace, and is it managed by an organization whose admin may have blocked the MCP server under the same controls the Rovo one uses (https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/connect-trello-to-ai-assistants-with-trello-mcp/)?

Those cases show a visible message, though, such as "Access to this domain is restricted". A blank page with a 500 on consent/info points more to Atlassian's side.

1. Remove and re-add the server in Claude Code, then retry once.
2. If it still fails, raise it with Trello Support (https://support.atlassian.com/trello/) and include the failing call, the 500 and the UTC time.
